a tiny garden with a big soul
It all began with an idea. In June of 2022, I started a garden with just five small containers. I knew nothing about gardening, but I had the desire to grow my own food and connect with nature. It was important to me to use only organic gardening methods and indigenous agricultural practices. This led me down the path of burying fish in my garden, ordering over one hundred worms for my compost bin, and going on nightly slug hunts to remove the critters. After many failures, I became in tune with my garden and things began to flourish. Five containers quickly became ten, which became fifteen, and now, my tiny garden has exploded to over forty containers. I have grown over one hundred different varieties of plants, with the majority grown from seed.
